RAISE he woke up in his bed tonight he had dreamt of a dead man's wife who he followed down to the sea and through the mist of the morning rain he could hear her call his name as he followed into the water she said raise your voice when you're drowning raise your hands and reach out for me for i will never let you down raise your voice so that i can hear what you need and what you fear for i will never let you down as he rose from his bed that night he walked out in the pale moon light and he stumbled down to the sea where the lady took his hand and they walked on warm white sand till they sank into the water a life to awaken a life now forsaken
